CYTEK CENTER OF RESEARCH EXCELLENCE (CoRE)
The Cytek Centre of Research Excellence (CoRE) is a strategic partnership with the Hugh Green Technology Centre at the Malaghan Institute, that will enable it to maintain and extend its position as a world leader in the application of full spectrum flow cytometry.
Cytek and the Hugh Green Technology Centre have maintained a strong and trusted relationship for several years, and the establishment of the CoRE will foster further information exchange and enable new innovative collaborations. Focusing on the continuous promotion of best practice in full spectrum cytometry, the CoRE will also deliver benefits to the regional and international flow cytometry communities.
​The Hugh Green Technology Centre are leaders in the field of full spectrum flow cytometry and have published several papers in well-known journals. We were the first group to compare full spectrum flow cytometry data with mass cytometry (CyTOF) data, and we found that the quality of the full spectrum data was optimal for high-dimensional data analysis algorithms.
We have also published two protocols in Current Protocols of Cytometry to help the community successfully use full spectrum flow cytometry. One paper covers full spectrum flow cytometry panel design and the other one full spectrum flow cytometry panel optimisation.
