GROW YOUR FLOW SCHOLARSHIPS
We recognise that tightening training budgets and reduced institutional support can limit access to advanced cytometry training for prospective participants and that you may require financial assistance to join our Grow Your Flow programme.
To support equitable participation in the full Grow Your Flow series, a small number of supported access options are available for the core series and expansion modules. These options are designed to enable participation through two distinct mechanisms: supported placements made available through programme capacity and in-kind support, and paid schoarships funded by commercial partners
Supported placements
The Hugh Green Technology Centre and the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research are offering a limited number of supported places that provide full programme registration at no cost to the participant. These places are made available through programme capacity and in-kind support, rather than through the exchange of funds.
Paid scholarships
OMIQ (Dotmatics) and Australian Biosearch are offering paid scholarships to support participation in the Grow Your Flow programme. The OMIQ scholarships include a one-year OMIQ license.
The Hugh Green Technology Centre Technician Commitment supported place
As signatories of the Technician Commitment, The Hugh Green Technology Centre is offering a supported place dedicated exclusively to individuals working in a technical role within shared resource laboratories. This supported place is intended to support professional development, and to improve access to world class cytometry training, with full programme registration provided at no cost to the successful applicant.
What is included?
Scholarships and supported places include registration only for all Grow Your Flow modules in 2026. Successful applicants may attend online, or in person at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research, with any travel and accommodation arranged independently.
Who can apply?
Applications are open to staff and students from academic institutions, including those working in shared resource laboratories and core facilities.
Applications are open now and close on 27 February 2026, at 5pm NZDT.
